H130-U 13.56MHz USB NFC Reader, Glossy Desktop Pad, Keyboard Output

The H130-U is a read-only 13.56MHz USB reader in a glossy black pad with a silver edge, made for front desks where the hardware is on show. It reads MIFARE Classic 1K/4K and NTAG203 UIDs at 0–80 mm in about 0.2 s, types them as keyboard input without a driver, and has a controllable LED and buzzer.

Why integrators choose the H130-U

  • Front-desk finish — glossy black top with a silver edge, 104 × 70 × 15 mm and about 250 g, so it stays put on a counter.
  • Keyboard input, no driver — the reader enumerates as a USB human-input device and types the UID at the cursor.
  • Controllable LED and buzzer — blue power LED, green status LED and buzzer, specified as controllable, so feedback can be matched to the site.
  • 0.2 s reads — 0.5 s read interval and a 0–80 mm range, depending on the card.
  • Output to your format — the card-number format is set before shipment to match your software.

Built for counters that customers see

Reception desks, gym and club check-in points and clinic registration counters are places where the reader sits in front of customers all day. The H130-U has a glossy black top with a silver edge, and at about 250 g it is the heaviest pad in the 13.56MHz range, which helps it stay in place when cards are tapped on it. A blue LED shows the reader is powered; the green LED and buzzer confirm each read.

The micro-USB socket lets the cable unplug from the reader, so it can be routed through a desk grommet and replaced without changing the reader. The same glossy housing is available for 125kHz cards (L130-U) and UHF tags (U130-U).

Setting the output format

The H130-U supports custom output formats, and the format for your order is confirmed in the quotation. Choose it to match what your membership or visitor software already stores. The example below shows how one 4-byte UID (5A 3C 91 0E) looks in the most common formats:

FormatExample output
8-digit hex5A3C910E
8-digit hex, reversed byte order0E913C5A
10-digit decimal1513918734
10-digit decimal, reversed byte order0244399194

Note the 0 at the start of the last example: a fixed-length decimal format pads shorter values with zeros, which matters if your software strips zeros or stores the number as an integer. An Enter after the number is usually wanted when the reader fills a search field. Check your existing records with the card number converter before you order.
