13.56MHz H110-R
13.56MHz RS232 MIFARE Card Reader, Slim Pad, DB9 Serial
- RS232
- Desktop
Read range: Up to 80 mm
The H110-U is a read-only 13.56MHz desktop reader for MIFARE Classic 1K/4K and NTAG203 cards, built for card enrollment, attendance and membership desks. It connects over USB as a keyboard, needs no driver, reads at up to 80 mm and types each card UID as a 10-digit decimal number at the cursor.
The H110-U is the reader to put on a desk where a person needs a card number inside software quickly and without typing errors. Typical jobs are enrolling new MIFARE cards into access-control software, registering staff or visitors for attendance, and looking up members at a reception or POS counter.
Because it works as a USB keyboard, nothing is installed on the PC. The number goes into whichever field has the cursor: a web form, an Excel cell or the card-number box of your own application. At 10 mm thick and about 140 g, the pad lies flat next to a keyboard or under a monitor stand.
It is a read-only UID reader. It identifies a card by its unique ID; it does not read sector data, write to the card or copy it.
By default the H110-U reads the 4-byte card UID and types it as a 10-digit decimal number. Many systems store the same UID differently, as 8-digit hex or with the byte order reversed, and that is the usual reason a card "reads a different number" from the one already enrolled. Compare a sample card with your database using the card number converter, then tell us the format you need: a custom output format is set before shipment. The card number formats guide explains the common variants.
On PCs with a non-US keyboard layout, set the input language to English (US) so the digits arrive correctly.

Plug the USB cable into the PC. The reader is recognized as a keyboard, no driver is installed, and the LED shows red (standby).
Open the target application, such as Notepad, Excel or your enrollment software, and click into the card-number field.
Present a card flat over the pad. The LED turns green, the buzzer sounds and the 10-digit UID is typed at the cursor.
If the number does not match your existing records, check it with the card number converter and ask for the matching output format before shipment.
No. The H110-U is read-only: it reads the card UID and types it as a number. It does not write sectors, change keys or copy cards.
By default, the card's 4-byte UID as a 10-digit decimal number. If your software stores the UID as hex or in reversed byte order, the output format can be changed before shipment; compare a sample card with the card number converter first.
NTAG203 is on its supported list; NTAG213 is an ISO 14443A tag but is not named for this model. NTAG tags carry a 7-byte UID while the default output is built from 4 bytes, so send a sample tag and we confirm the output before you order. The H150-U lists NTAG213.
Up to 80 mm with a standard ISO card, depending on the card and its surroundings. Key fobs and small stickers read closer, and a metal desk under the reader reduces range.
Yes. Linux and Android are on its supported list, along with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 10. On Android, connect it through a USB OTG adapter; the number is typed into the app that has focus.
