USB-C 13.56MHz NFC Reader for Android Phones, MIFARE UID
- USB
- Plug-in
Read range: 0–30 mm front and back, 0–10 mm from the side
The H210-U is a read-only 13.56MHz reader the size of a USB flash drive, 75 × 21 × 7 mm and about 10 g, that plugs straight into a USB-A port. It reads MIFARE Classic 1K/4K and NTAG203 UIDs at up to 80 mm and types them as 10-digit decimal numbers, also on Android through an OTG adapter.
A desk pad needs a cable and a spot on the counter. The H210-U needs only a free USB-A port, which makes it the practical choice for laptops at mobile check-in points, hot desks, event and training registration, and field staff who carry a reader in a laptop bag. It also suits thin clients and all-in-one PCs where a pad would be in the way.
Output is the same as on the H110-U and H120-U desk pads: the card UID is typed as a 10-digit decimal number into the field that has the cursor, so the same software works with both. At about 10 g, and about 40 g in its small retail box with a plastic tray, it is also light to ship to distributed sites.
Connect the stick through a USB OTG adapter (USB-A female to the phone's USB-C or micro-USB port). The phone or tablet must support USB OTG. The reader then behaves like an external keyboard: open any app, tap into a text field and present the card.
If the reader will live on a phone permanently, the H220-C plugs directly into USB-C without an adapter. The Android OTG checklist covers settings and common pitfalls. iOS is not on the H210-U's supported list.
Choose the H210-U when portability or port-side mounting matters more than a fixed reading spot. For a counter where customers lay their card down, a pad such as the H110-U gives a larger, more obvious target and keeps the reader off the PC's port.

Remove the cap and plug the H210-U into a USB-A port, or into an OTG adapter on an Android device; no driver is needed.
Open any document or app and click or tap into a text field.
Hold the card close to the stick. The LED and buzzer confirm the read and the 10-digit UID is typed.
For a different number format, specify it in your RFQ so it is set before shipment.
Yes, through a USB OTG adapter on phones and tablets that support OTG. It types the card number into the app that has focus, like a keyboard. For a direct USB-C plug-in, see the H220-C.
iOS is not on the H210-U's supported list, so we do not offer it for iPhone or iPad.
